Coming from the cane-swinging sixties, I need to start in the full school uniform - whether giving (as a prefect) or taking (as the miscreant). Watching boys back then standing at the front of the class with their hands behind their backs, surreptitiously trying hard not to rub their bums in anticipation under the glare of the man with the stick before touching their toes (not your knees, boy - straighten your legs !) as he flips the tail of the blazer over the boy's back and tapping the cane against the taut grey trouser seat has given me an acute sense what to wear (that boy was me often !). Now I need to start in clean white shirt, school tie with perfect windsor knot, blazer (preferably double vented to allow easy access to the cheeks), black socks and shoe. And, of course, tight - very tight - school grey long trousers with sharp creases (after all, it is the job of the cane to beat out those creases running down the bum). The only difference between now and then is that instead of the panty-line to spoil the smoothness of the target I wear a dance-belt, which (as stated) completely exposes the bum for welting, whilst the crotch is protected and supported, and looks and feels really good in those tight grey trousers. Dressed like this I certainly do feel confident that I can take whatever the master gives, and it enables me to proffer my arse as cheekily as is required - and an experienced top can make it just as sore as on the bare. Of course, that comes later !
