Re: Important - Fake ***** warning message
I've had a similar message and posted a warning about it. Can I ask the moderators to post warnings like this as a sticky until the culprit is found and dealt with?
By the way I've had other phishing messages outside this site, on from "EBay" the other from "PayPal". Both ask me to click on a link and wearn of dire consequences if I don't. I know these messages are fake because they wer sent to an emial address I have never used for EBay/Paypal orders and payments.
Watch out everybody; they're after your dosh.

Re: Important - Fake ***** warning message
got 2 of these but as it purported to come from a brand new USA member then it was pretty obvious it wasn't from admin and an online forum would not know if your home poot had a ***** on it anyway.
However would someone please ban SuperModer who sent the 2nd one like they have the 1st poster ta!

Re: Important - Fake ***** warning message
I've just logged in for the first time in several weeks... was quite excited to see that there were 5 messages for me - usually I don't get any at all (hint!!!)- but they were all fake ***** warnings, from various user id's, none of them from a profile of moderator status.
... Just ignore them - the children will get bored soon enough.
