You have to be of a concentrated mindset. I get the statistics for the forum and in the last 12 hours 127 Pm's have scurried back and forth. Search your area for people who are your potential contacts and PM them. It takes some work but, as my own experiences of the last week bears testament - persistence pays.

Don't be afraid to look at your own profile, see who's looked at it and contact them. For some the shyness is only overcome by gentle proactivity and prodding.

It's up to you what you make of it so don't expect a one-liner to have people queuing outside your door. Invest and reap the rewards.

i struggle to get my way round the forums and private messages and to see who has viewed me. it's hard being totally blind not getting any spanking at all. it does get me down like. it does seem like no one replies to anything sad face.

I am a relatively new member to this site and have to admit like you it does seem a little slow. But id o think Algonnia is right. Ive started to PM a few people in my area, no responses but lets wait and see. I written a fantasy and hope it will be posted. I suppose the problem could come that with a slow site perhaps people just think there are a lot of curious people on here a nd not a lot else. You said you don't think folks on here do anything but look and don't reply. Well I Have been a member on here for quite a few years now and over that time I have met with and had lots of meets with other guy's and also made lasting friendships as well.
I do agree that at times one does have to plod away, and put up with the ones who do not reply to PMs I just put them down as plain rude. You get them in any walk of life.
I over the last year I have met a couple of good spanking friends in the North East from the posts on spanking contacts. Before that met several in Wales when I lived there and before that when I was living in the south west of England and met quite a few people. All in all over the years I have met at least 20 people and all have developed into fantastic meets and sessions and many lasting friends.
Notice that you have not been a member for very long. All I can say to you is do not give up, sometimes it takes a bit of time but there are lots of good people to meet on spanking contacts.
( I have nothing to do with this site by the way just in case you are wondering) I am just a keen member. LOL

I think you have to consider that we are all drawn to a very intimate activity that others may find odd so perhaps many of us are very cautious. Perhaps some are worried about finding their ideal partner only 20 miles away is senior manager at work, or the Hon. Sec. of their synchronised-crochet club. Or as a spanking-contact magazine editor once put it, "Mistress Ironknickers turns out to be your maiden aunt...".

Also of course, if you spot a likely contact only to find that you live 400 miles apart and one or both can't accommodate - and don't want to use hotels! - or has other sexual wants that turn you off... that narrows the field a little further. Venn Diagram enthusiasts would have great fun representing the wants described in contact ads in the genteel world of "Two's Company" in your local paper, let alone on more specialist & openly erotic contact web-sites like this!

It's not that people are unfriendly, although those who ignore PMs are bad-mannered, just that everyone has very individual wants on top of locations, accomm, opportunities etc.

Some people post very thin profiles - don't give their age for example, or specify their tastes very well, thus perhaps deterring potential respondents.

It's all a matter of dogged persistence and patience.
