Dear Mr Gove,
I wonder if you can explain to our audience here at www.spankingcontacts.co.uk (http://www.spankingcontacts.co.uk) exactly what you meant when you said that teachers should not be afraid of using more old fashioned methods of punishment?

I only ask as I know what my husband would take it to mean and what I might fear/dread/hope you mean so I think a little more clarity might prevent my poor bottom from suffering as a result of any misunderstanding.

If you are in Scotland not sure it would be your bottom you would be worrying about!! "Old fashioned methods" would no doubt mean 6 of the best with the tawse on your hands...
