Anyway since I have found the joys of birching I would say at present it has to be top of the list followed very closely by the cane, tawse, belt ,hand and everything else ...I'm just so greedy I love using them all !!! :D:D

the cane is the best, followed by the tawse. im lucky to have a girlfriend who just LOVES the cane. i have 5 canes and use them every other day at my girlfriends request. her bottom is always marked.:)

It is definitely the leather tawse for me. It makes a lovely sound when it lands right and when you get it on the hands you can look into the eyes and smile at the nice lady who is giving you it. It annoys them and makes them belt you all the harder.

interesting list of implements. i heard the 'paddle' is an american thing, how on earth it crept in britain i have no idea. i think the tawse was originally a scottish thing. in days of olde the whittled switch was used before the import of the bamboo cane, which although not so harsh has them coming back for more! :rolleyes:

Of the various, the Slipper and Cane, together with assorted odd weapons like wooden rules, are old British school favourites - the Tawse was particularly Scots but I think they used the cane too. I had a good session with a Sjambok it was only 30 inches long and very flexible bought off Ebay for £30.
When I met my Master I was shown up to his bedroom and to my surprise he has a spanking bench I was made to strip naked and wrist and ankle straps were fastened to me I was placed over the bench and clipped to the legs of the bench.
The first three strokes were a thud followed by a stinging sensation like it was from a thin cane I was quite surprised to get both sensations from the same implement.
Being very flexible the tip wrapped around biting hard into the sides of my buttocks and gave some nice deep welts to look at over the next few days.
In total I received at least 60 strokes leaving me very pleased and sore, can't wait until the next time.
